For the generation who lived through it, the fall of the Berlin Wall 25 years ago was the defining experience of their lives. A number of images from the time have become famous - from the photo of a Trabant full of young women to the crowds of people who climbed onto the wall and a night-time shot of the Brandenburg Gate bathed in light.
